There’s a really annoying commercial advertisement out right now making its rotation on prime time television. It’s a commercial for the LA County Fair featuring what is supposed to be local Angelinos in an LA boutique store talking about the material of some crappy clothing they are shopping for.� Check it out HERE.� Now anyone who walks around Los Angeles for one second knows that these folks do not speak or sound like people from Los Angeles.� These women are from the OC.� Everything from their intonation to their flat-ironed hair, point to them being south of Los Angeles.� Not to say that I’m exactly proud of some of the characters coming out of Los Angeles, but being represented by the O.C. persona is such a slap in the face.� So the next time this ad agency wants to recreate the spirit of an Angelino, make sure you reference something along the lines of The Kardashians.� Entourage.
