You Can Learn A Lot From Kelly Slater?s Tough Spirit

Kelly Slater just broke another milestone in his career a couple of weeks ago when he took the Quicksilver Pro France title from Dane Reynolds.� Unfortunately, he didn?t have such an easy time with the rough conditions in round three of the Rip Curl Pro where he got eliminated.� But someone of his stature need not to worry because it?s his resiliency that keeps him going after all these years.� This is the kind of attitude we can all learn from.� I know that I can attribute this fighting spirit in myself. When I was 10 years old, I got arrested for throwing rocks at a moving bus.� Most kids would have given up a life as a RASCAL but not me.� I continued to throw rocks at things I felt needed to have rocks thrown at it.� When I was 15, I wore raver pants.� I continued to wear RAVER PANTS after I tripped when I got my leg stuck in the pants hole while skipping to the front of the line at TOGETHER AS ONE.� And I definitely shouldn?t have eaten that shrimp at the BOARDWALK CAF� in Vegas where I had the runs for at least 4 [...]
