adidas Skateboarding New York City

About 12 years ago my friends and I took a skate tour across the country. Actually it was a skate tour via Route 66 to NYC and it was our first road trip ever.�� A Chinese kid from school named Sam Lim gave us a Dodge Dart for the price of buying him a gas cap for the Dart. Basically we took that Dart and stopped at every little city between buttf*ck Egypt and Hoboken, New Jersey . It was amazing the kinds of reactions we got from people who rarely got to see skateboarding. They were truly and genuinely disgusted with us. An old mechanic from Queens kicked us off his ledge. Teenage punks from Brooklyn tried to jack our boards. So we didn?t feel too welcomed. But the Adidas Skate team had an entirely different experience when they skate NYC for a tour of the country. Fortunately for them, they got a positive reaction. Just watch the video at Adidas and see the faces shine.
