Bowls are a very important part of the skateboard world.� Without them, the evolution of vert skating may have never prospered.� Another phenomenon bowl?s have influenced in skateboarding are bowl haircuts.� Sure the SURFERS may have had them first, but it was the skaters who perfected it.� You can go back to the Tony Hawk SEMI-BOWL haircut of the 1980?s when it was in its early stages.� KIDS from all over the country put their own twist on it.� It has forever identified itself with skateboarders. Sydney?s stunning Bondi Beach welcomes the return of Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Bondi from February 19 ? 23 for its ninth consecutive year of awesome skateboarding and events. Following the first event of the international series, Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Wellington (held one week prior), Bondi promises to continue the festivities with an even hotter lineup of international skateboarding legends at the biggest professional bowl skating contest this side of the equator.
