I grew up in Missouri where there wasn’t much surfing going on but all the hottest television shows of the 90′s took place on the coast: Baywatch, California Dreams, GIDGET.� All the cool kids looked up to characters of these shows and wanted to emulate them in every way possible.� By the 8th grade, most of us spoke with a surfer accent as seen on AMERICAN GLADIATORS.� By the 9th grade, most of us had the HAIR of our favorite TV characters.� By the 11th grade, we all had the beach fashion down.� And by the 12th grade, we all got denied into good colleges. We didn’t’ have much surf in our state but still wanted to rock the fashion of beach culture.� That is why BODY GLOVE was such a huge inspiration to us all.� We would not be who we are TODAY without the iconic surf brand.
