Skateistan Opening Their 2nd Facility in Afghanistan!

It’s hard being the best at something.� When you are at the top of your craft, there’s no place to go but down.� There will be some athletes who enjoy a number one ranking but due to the pressures that come with being the BEST OF THE BEST, most of them tend to fail on a dowward trajectory that they cannot ever recover from.� But when you get to the likes of a Tony Hawk, Kelly Slater, or LANDIS CHICHENKO, they are able to be recognized as number one because they� have ice water in their veins. As for me, I’m the number one photographer from my area.� I’ve been given numerous medals and certificates to Chili’s for my work in the WALNUT BEE.� But after seeing some of the photos on the SKATEISTAN website, I feel that there are way better photographers than me. The photos on the SKATEISTAN website just may be some of the most breathtaking photos I have ever seen.� Skateboarding is an escape for millions of people over the history of the sport and I am psyched that it is spreading to the far corners of the earth and especially in a war torn country [...]
