Yoshi Tanenbaum Lands on Stereo Team

The first time I heard of skater Yoshi Tanenbaum, I thought to myself� “Ah! another Amerasian skater ala Eric Koston, Sean Malto and Kenny Anderson. To my surprise, he’s white! His parents must have been huge Mario Brothers fans like I was growing up. Simpler times! Anyhow, I think the kid rips, as does head honcho Chris Pastras of Stereo Skateboards, because he has just bumped� Yoshi up to pro. Watching his skate footage makes me want to stop typing this, grab my board and try to rip as hard as him. Maryland?s Yoshi Tanenbaum has worked his way up the ranks of the Stereo flow program ripping the streets of the Baltimore/DC area, winning a Damn AM, helping Stereo win the Woodward West Shootout, and generally leaving everyone who sees him skate in person with a dropped jaw. When you?re out on the road, he?s the guy skating flat ground in the parking lot at 2am after skating all day and night. He?s a true powerhouse who skates every session like it?s the last day on earth. To describe him as hard working is an understatement.
