JED MILDON ATTEMPTING WORLD FIRST TOMORROW!

That's IT! We can't keep it a secret anymore! Tomorrow Unit BMXer Jed Mildon is holding a massive event in Taupo, New Zealand called the Unit T3 Mindtricks BMX Jam, where he and a handful of NZ's gnarliest riders will be throwing the biggest tricks they can off what is arguably the world's biggest super-ramp set-up!

During the event Jed is going to attempt to change the face of two-wheeled action-sports as we know it by attempting a world's first, and the Guinness Book Of World Records will be on hand to give it the seal of approval. While there is one trick in particular that will smash the limits of what is possible, there is potentially several tricks that will be thrown that have never been landed before.

The boys have been practising for months for this day, and tomorrow's event is going to be the climax to all their hard work. A massive 18m roll-in has been built into the side of a hill in Spa Park specifically for this event, and the take-off ramp they're using is an FMX-inspired super-kicker that will lead to a 43ft step-up to a "Mega-Mega Box".

Over the past three days Jed and his gang have been practising onto an airbag (above, potos courtesy of airbag.co.nz) and have got their tricks dialled... but check the height NZer Hugh Weatherspoon is boosting on this Front-flip!

Keep your eyes and ears peeled, everyone, because we're hoping by tomorrow afternoon the face of action-sports will be changed forever by a humble Kiwi lad with a big set of balls.
