This is it! X Games has officially kicked off with a banger FMX contest inside the famous Staples Centre. 1st place went to Taka Higashino, 2nd Levi Sherwood and 3rd Javier Villegas. We tagged along to snap some photos and see who was bringing the heat for 2012!

After a rough year so far, this isn't the way Andre Villa would have liked to end his first run. He missed the grab on a Backflip Seatgrab, and got sent into the dirt. He was not able to return for his 2nd run.
