Ever wondered what it is like to be a ridiculously hot Unit model, appearing on tees, busses, billboards, air-fresheners and the minds of millions of people around the world? We sent your questions to the beautiful Kat to find out:
Do I have to be able to backflip 150 ft to have you?
Hmm, while being able to backflip 150 is impressive, I'd like to think there’s more to it than that... you could always give it a try and see what happens ;)
What’s it like to be a model?
It's pretty cruisy to be a model, as specially for UNIT. Going to a shoot with UNIT is more like going to a pool party.... one that gets out of hand and ends with a bike in the pool.
What helped you along your journey to get to where you are today?
Just meeting the right people, the guys at UNIT are great guys to know with great ideas. Just trusting that they know what they are doing and going along with their crazy ideas... it can be a little scary at times but always pays off!
What made you want to become the model for a Moto, BMX, FMX (being Unit of course) over any other company?
I've always been a big believer in pushing the boundaries and trying things that others might stray from, i think that UNIT is a company that wont be bullied into doing what's "right" according to someone else. They do what everyone wants to, but might be too scared to. Not much point in living life if your doing it by someone else’s rules!
What do think when you are out shopping, driving down the road etc, and see yourself on clothes, boardies, air-fresheners etc?
No matter how many times i see myself on merchandise or the side of a bus it still brings a smile to my face.
Are you going to Europe or America anytime soon?
I don’t have any official plans to go but i would LOVE to get back overseas soon. Come to think of it, i hear the UNIT riders are heading over soon....hint hint, I'm totally small enough to fit in someone’s bag ;)
Would you ever do a girl on girl shoot to have the pics put on t shirts?
Totally! If people want to see it on shirts, i see no reason why not!
Have you ever milked a cow?
Well that’s different, Im happy to answer all questions though! Yes i have, it was in kindergarten when my class took a field trip to a farm! Ah the memories!
